To kick off May Mural Month, I stepped outside my usual circle to connect with muralists in different parts of the world.

One of those conversations was with Toronto-based artist Tetyana Bibik, who shared what it’s like running a mural business in Canada. From pricing differences and currency gaps to a higher cost of living and long winter seasons, the business side looks very different depending on location.

She also shared how she stays consistently booked through email outreach, networking, and trade shows, proving that visibility and relationships matter just as much as talent.
