AI Image Battle: ChatGPT vs Google Gemini vs Midjourney

Artists have been asking a lot about AI lately, so I decided to test three of the most talked-about platforms—ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and MidJourney—inside my actual mural workflow.

In my mural business, AI helps speed up the early stages of projects. I use it to create quick mockups, explore and refine concepts, generate references, and save time during the planning phase.

Each platform has its strengths. ChatGPT is helpful for brainstorming ideas and organizing concepts, Gemini is useful for research, and MidJourney can generate visual inspiration and reference imagery.

For me, AI is simply a starting point—not the finished product. Everything still goes through my own edits, creative decisions, and painting process. Used this way, AI becomes a helpful assistant that supports the workflow without replacing the artist behind the work.
